🔥 Tokaholics — Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-26

These Terms govern your use of Tokaholics — the website at tokaholics.pro and the tokaholics command-line tool (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What Tokaholics is

Tokaholics measures your Claude Code token usage and lets you compare it with friends and private crews — a dashboard, leaderboards, and live views. It's an independent project, currently offered free of charge. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what data is and isn't collected.

Not affiliated with Anthropic

Tokaholics is an independent, third-party tool. It is not created, endorsed by, or affiliated with Anthropic or Claude. “Claude” and “Claude Code” are trademarks of their respective owner. Your use of Claude Code remains governed by Anthropic's own terms.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) and able to form a binding agreement. You're responsible for complying with the terms of the services you sign in with (GitHub, Google) and of any software you measure.

Your account

You sign in through GitHub or Google. Keep your account secure — you're responsible for activity under it. Provide accurate information, use one account per person, and don't impersonate anyone. Choose usernames and crew names that aren't unlawful, misleading, hateful, or infringing; we may reclaim or change names that break this.

The command-line tool

The CLI is open source under the MIT License and runs on computers you control. You choose to install it and may remove it at any time with tokaholics logout. It reads usage counts only — never your code, prompts, file names, or project names (see the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for only running it on machines and accounts you're permitted to use.

Acceptable use

Don't: falsify, inflate, or game your usage numbers; access or scrape other people's data; probe, overload, or attack the Service; bypass rate limits or privacy controls; reverse-engineer the hosted backend; or use the Service for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

The numbers are estimates, not advice

Any dollar figure shown is the estimated value of your tokens at Anthropic's public pay-as-you-go API rates. If you're on a flat Pro/Max plan, it is not what you actually pay. Figures are approximate, provided for fun and curiosity, and are not financial, billing, or professional advice.

Your content and our brand

You keep ownership of the limited content you create (such as your username and crew names). You grant us the permission needed to display it within the Service to you and the people you share with. The Tokaholics name, look, and the hosted service are ours; the open-source CLI is licensed separately under MIT.

Availability and changes

The Service is provided free and “as is.” We may change, limit, pause, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we don't promise uptime, accuracy, or that it will always be free. We'll try to give reasonable notice of major changes.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tokaholics and its maker won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Since the Service is free, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for it — which is zero. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Third-party services

We rely on third parties to run the Service, including Supabase (backend), Vercel (hosting), and GitHub/Google (sign-in). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their parts, and we aren't responsible for them.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your profile, which removes your profile, stats, devices, and follows. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, give notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you're a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights of your country of residence.
